Marc England
Marc England studied Composition at Berklee College of Music, Boston, USA and Film and Animation in Milan, Italy. He continued his studies in Composition at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, with the renowned Film Composer Ennio Morricone (The Mission) and Animation under Cavandoli (La Linea) in Milan. He has had a one man Exhibition at the Fine Arts Museum in Valletta, Malta and won 1st prize in the St. John Bosco International competition in 1988. He has also held the post of lecturer at the University of Malta. His paintings are featured in Nicholas De Piro’s book ‘The International Directory of Artists who painted Malta.’ Marc is the Author of a book of Cartoons entitled Camelogue, and his work has been published in various publications including Space on Earth by Charles Knevitt (RIBA Trust Director.)

He released a single entitled ‘Love’ (featuring Soprano Claire Debono) and also had his Ave Maria sung by Tenor Joseph Calleja.

Marc had a solo exhibition of his paintings at b’art gallery in Sliema in November 2007. From July to October 2008 he exhibited his paintings at the Christiane Peugeot Cultural Centre in Paris and at the Galerie Adam & Eve at Le Village Suisse, also in Paris. His works were also included in the Museo Casa da Luz in Funchal, Portugal for the 2008 Madeira International Art Bienal.
